A seamless metal texture with gold arranged in a cubic pattern. The image represents a physical area of 3513 x 3649 mm (138.3 x 143.7 inches) in total, with each individual sheet measuring approximately 400 x 100 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 5 mm (0.2 inches) in width.

Gold has been used in architectural decoration and detailing for centuries. While not a common façade or cladding product relative to other metals, gold is sometimes employed by architects to bring a distinctive warm, rich colour to their work. Gold sheet metal can be polished, brushed, stained, and cut into a variety of shapes for use in external walls, details, panels, doors, or windows. Gold also forms an attractive contrast to structural load-carrying materials such as stone, concrete, or brick, and is often used in conjunction with masonry or glass.

This texture is an example of a rhombille pattern, also known as cubic or tumbling blocks. The rhombille pattern contains a series of rhombi positioned in groups of three to collectively form a hexagon shape, giving the appearance of a cube in isometric perspective. It's commonly used for parquetry and in ceramic tile patterns among other applications.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations.
