A seamless stone texture with white marble arranged in a hexagonal pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1409 x 1626 mm (55.5 x 64 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 225 x 65 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 10 mm (0.4 inches) in width.

White marble is a popular stone product used within architecture and construction for both internal and external finishes. While marble is finished in a variety of colours, white marble is considered as the most natural form, due to its lack of mineral impurities. In contemporary buildings, marble is rarely a dominant material due to its relatively high cost, but is often used in columns, flooring, countertops, wall cladding, staircases, and sculptures.

This texture uses hexagonal tiling. This hexagonal pattern contains regular hexagon shapes with each row offset in order to interlink with one another. It is one of the three regular tilings of the Euclidean plane and is a significant structure in nature.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
