Dark stained timber is any timber product which has been treated with a dark staining solution along its surface. Following a process of sanding, conditioning, staining, and sealing, dark stained timber can make an effective, water-resistant choice for cladding, facades, or landscape elements, as well as internal products from flooring to furniture. Dark stained timber has the added benefit of reducing the prevalence of knots along the surface grain, as well as creating a smoother, more even texture.
A seamless wood texture with a dark stained timber surface. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
