Pilotage Stretcher

A seamless brick texture with pilotage arranged in a stretcher pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1000 x 870 mm (39.4 x 34.3 inches) in total, with each individual unit measuring approximately 250 x 87 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 0 mm (0 inches) in width.

Pilotage is a unique red/brown brick tone popularized by the ornate maritime Pilotage Building found in cities such as Liverpool, Cardiff, and Antwerp. Typically formed of clay and finished to varying textures and colours, bricks are popular in architecture and construction due to their durability, standard sizing, and thermal properties. Pilotage bricks are often used in coordination with other brick types in external building facades, cladding, walls, landscapes, and interior finishes.

This texture uses a running pattern also known as a stretcher bond. The stretcher bond is one of the most common bonds used in masonry construction and uses stretchers, bricks laid flat with their long edge parallel to the wall. Each alternating course is offset by a half stretcher.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models.
