A seamless wood texture with Burned Brushed Douglas by Burned Wood arranged in a staggered pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1320 x 1806 mm (52 x 71.1 inches) in total, with each individual board measuring approximately 900 x 100 mm. The joints are filled with a solid fill and are 3 mm (0.1 inches) in width.
Burned Wood Douglas brushed is made from 100% Dutch wood from the State Forestry that is felled in 100% FSC-certified forests. After the Burned Wood preservation process, the controlled surface burning, the charred layer is brushed off. This really brings out the wood grain patterns and a relief, as well as a beautiful colour contrast. The Burned Wood Douglas brushed is finished with Burned Wood Stain Natural, a water-based stain produced in the Netherlands. This stain protects the wood against UV radiation, fungi and weathering, and allowing the wood to retain its colour for longer. The Burned Wood's colour will gradually lighten over time due to weather exposure.
This texture uses a staggered pattern, in which each row is offset at random from the last. Staggered patterns are often found in brickwork, stonemasonry and in wood flooring layouts.
This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
