A seamless concrete texture with concrete blocks arranged in a hexagonal pattern

A seamless concrete texture with concrete blocks arranged in a hexagonal pattern. The image represents a physical area of 2480 x 2147 mm (97.6 x 84.5 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 300 x 900 mm (11.8 x 35.4 inches). The joints are filled with mortar and are 10 mm (0.4 inches) in width.

Concrete is one of the most widely used materials in architecture and construction, for structural and decorative components. Concrete’s high strength, durability, and ease of adaption through formworks lends itself to all building typologies, while the range of finishes, from boardmarked to polished, allow it to be incorporated with a variety of other materials and moods. Concrete can be cast in situ, or prefabricated and transported to site, where it is often used for slabs, floors, walls, columns, beams, and façade cladding.

This texture uses hexagonal tiling. This hexagonal pattern contains regular hexagon shapes with each row offset in order to interlink with one another. It is one of the three regular tilings of the Euclidean plane and is a significant structure in nature.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
