Loop Pile Carpet, Staggered
This auburn medium density, medium height, loop pile carpet is perfect for creating warm, forest or desert themed floors; adding a splash of colour and contrast to cool, restrained materials or shades; or uniting deep, rich, regal colours and textures. The variation between lighter tones of orange-red interlaced with burgundy or wine shades creates a texture which is a rich, rusty, earthen clay colour with light highlights and dark, almost black shadows adding interest and variation.
Moderate density, similar in grain to Kosset carpets, this carpet is suited to medium to high foot-traffic areas in domestic settings, or high traffic areas in commercial settings, as its higher density and height are more durable, harder wearing and generally collect less dirt than higher density or taller threaded carpets: Lower pile carpets are typically stronger and harder wearing, easier to clean and less easily marked or dented by furniture or footsteps than high-pile, cut thread carpets as they are shallower and more accessible to clean, with less depth to hold dirt. They are harder wearing due to their tighter construction, which also helps increase resistance to gathering dirt and dust. Loop threaded carpets differ from tuft carpets as the yarns are looped back into the carpet rather than cut then twisted at the ends. Loop threaded carpets typically feel harsher and less cosy, but retain less dirt, hair and dust, making them lower maintenance and are more suitable for users and visitors with dust and/or pet allergies, or for areas such as hotel lobbies, office foyers or shop and retail unit floors.
This image is a seamless carpet texture with loop pile carpet arranged in a staggered pattern. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
