Walnut is a timber subspecies used within the architecture and construction industry, favoured for its adaptability. Walnut often features a smooth surface ranging from light, pale brown to a dark chocolate colour. Typically holding a straight, linear grain, walnut is a popular timber for internal applications such as furniture, interior cladding and paneling, and smaller wooden products. Walnut's high cost often prevents it being used for larger external applications such as building facades.
This image is a seamless wood texture with walnut arranged in a basketweave pattern. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
