A seamless brick texture with finnish grey brick arranged in a stretcher pattern

Description

A seamless brick texture with finnish grey brick arranged in a stretcher pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1800 x 1500 mm (70.9 x 59.1 inches) in total, with each individual unit measuring approximately 215 x 65 mm (8.5 x 2.6 inches). The joints are filled with a solid fill and are 10 mm (0.4 inches) in width.

Finnish grey brick is a masonry material used within architecture and construction. While not as popular as red brick, grey bricks are widely desirable because of the ease of which they blend with natural stone and concrete. Finnish grey bricks can vary further between light and dark grey, reddish grey, or expressive textures from rustic to smooth. Their application ranges widely from external cladding and façade systems to internal walls, landscaping features, or paving patterns.

This texture uses a running pattern also known as a stretcher bond. The stretcher bond is one of the most common bonds used in masonry construction and uses stretchers, bricks laid flat with their long edge parallel to the wall. Each alternating course is offset by a half stretcher.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
