Eucalyptus, Herringbone

Eucalyptus is a durable hardwood timber with a straight, even grain and very few knots. Its natural colour ranges from light salmon pink to a dark brownish red and gets darker with age. Eucalyptus is a versatile timber used in a variety of construction and design applications. Commercial Eucalyptus timber is a hybrid of the two species, Eucalyptus grandis and E. urophylla, and although native to Eastern Australia, it is grown in plantations around the world. Eucalyptus grandis is often referred to as Rose Gum or Red Grandis.
