Polished Concrete Stack

A seamless concrete texture with polished concrete arranged in a stack pattern. The image represents a physical area of 2525 x 2108 mm (99.4 x 83 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 500 x 1050 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 5 mm (0.2 inches) in width.

Polished concrete is a term used to denote any concrete product which has been treated with a polishing agent or process. A polished finish can be applied to either pre-cast or in situ concrete, both during and after the initial construction process. A polished concrete finish can help to express the natural patterns, grains, tones, and markings in the concrete surface, making it a popular technique for floors, walls, facades, and cladding.

This texture uses a stack pattern. The stack pattern is the most basic of the standard patterns in architecture and interior design with each unit simply stacked one above the other and no horizontal or vertical offsets. When used in masonry construction, materials arranged in a stack bond typically require additional reinforcement when compared with a standard running bond.
