Mirrl is a solid surface material on a Poplar plywood substrate, using a technique inspired by Japanese lacquerware from the island of Hokkaido. It is highly resilient, long lasting, waterproof, food safe, repairable and ready for joinery. Mirrl has a distinctive organic pattern and is available in numerous colourways. Mirrl can be seamlessly jointed so is easy to clean and has a wide range of applications, ideal for tabletops, kitchens, bathrooms and cladding but is well suited to many more uses.
Fossil is an alternative aesthetic to the free flow of traditional Mirrl. Fossil uses recycled flecks of resin to create a more angular, chipped finish. Reminiscent of terrazzo. The base colour can be any colour and multi-coloured flecks are scattered across the surface.
A seamless surfaces texture with a fossil surface. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
