Striated is a superfine wall finish with smooth horizontal striations created by the skilful hand application. Made from aged lime putty and recycled crushed marble, the natural mineral material is applied in multiple layers before the finish coat is lightly trowel polished. This final polish gives the subtle tonal variation that brings out the refined horizontal movement and creates the silk-like texture.
A seamless finishes texture with a striated surface. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations.
