A seamless wood texture with dark stained timber arranged in a cubic pattern. The image represents a physical area of 4164 x 3602 mm (163.9 x 141.8 inches) in total, with each individual board measuring approximately 600 x 100 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 1 mm (0 inches) in width.

Dark stained timber is any timber product which has been treated with a dark staining solution along its surface. Following a process of sanding, conditioning, staining, and sealing, dark stained timber can make an effective, water-resistant choice for cladding, facades, or landscape elements, as well as internal products from flooring to furniture. Dark stained timber has the added benefit of reducing the prevalence of knots along the surface grain, as well as creating a smoother, more even texture.

This texture is an example of a rhombille pattern, also known as cubic or tumbling blocks. The rhombille pattern contains a series of rhombi positioned in groups of three to collectively form a hexagon shape, giving the appearance of a cube in isometric perspective. It's commonly used for parquetry and in ceramic tile patterns among other applications.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
