A seamless stone texture with limestone blocks arranged in a staggered pattern

A seamless stone texture with limestone blocks arranged in a staggered pattern. The image represents a physical area of 3090 x 2572 mm (121.7 x 101.3 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 500 x 500mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 15 mm (0.6 inches) in width.

Limestone is a popular stone within architecture and construction. Due to a variety of minerals, limestone can be found in a range of colours from light grey and cream to dark brown and black. Both soft and hard limestone are used extensively within buildings, in areas such as facades, wall cladding, roof tiles, paving slabs, and decorative elements for gardens, kitchens, and fireplaces.

This texture uses a staggered pattern, in which each row is offset at random from the last. Staggered patterns are often found in brickwork, stonemasonry and in wood flooring layouts.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
