Portland Stone - Whitbed Albion
Portland Stone is a creamy-white, durable limestone quarried on the Isle of Portland in Dorset, England.
Colour & Character; It has a moderately high shell content due to which the texture of each bed will reflect the light slightly differently. Typical Portland colour is creamy-white, although the large concentrations of grey shells can darken the overall colour.
Design Flexibility; bold and versatile; adds character into various styles, suitable for indoor and outdoor environments.
Natural Variation; No two pieces are the same, ensuring an individual finish every time.
Durability; a durable, high-quality British limestone that is highly regarded for both its aesthetic appeal and its ability to withstand heavy traffic, making it suitable for both commercial and residential interior projects. Suitable for high-traffic pedestrian areas, terraces, and paths. Generally, sealing is not recommended for Portland Stone facades or flooring as it can interfere with the stone's natural breathability and trap moisture.

Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
