Bird's Eye Maple, Herringbone
Bird’s Eye Maple is a decorative variety of Hard Maple found primarily in North America and characterised by small swirling grain patterns known as “eyes”. These patterns occur naturally within certain maple trees and are highly prized in decorative woodworking. The timber has a pale creamy colour and fine texture similar to standard maple but is valued mainly for its distinctive figure. It is commonly used in veneers, cabinetry and fine furniture where the decorative pattern can be showcased.
A seamless wood texture with bird's eye maple arranged in a herringbone pattern. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
