Ash is a strong and resilient hardwood commonly found across Europe and North America, particularly species such as Fraxinus excelsior and Fraxinus americana. It grows in temperate forests and has historically been valued for its strength and elasticity. The timber has a pale colour with a straight grain and coarse texture and machines well with both hand and power tools. Ash is widely used for furniture, joinery and tool handles, though it has low natural durability and is generally recommended for interior use.
A seamless wood texture with ash arranged in a staggered pattern. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
