European Beech (Fagus sylvatica) is a widely distributed hardwood found across Europe and commonly sourced from managed forests. It is widely used in furniture and interior joinery due to its availability and workability. The wood has a fine uniform texture with a straight grain and pale colour which can range from cream to pinkish brown. Beech machines well and is often steamed to create a more consistent tone, but it has relatively low natural durability and is generally used for interior applications.
A seamless wood texture with beech arranged in a staggered pattern. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
