Riven Edge Slate Roof Tiles
Slate is a fine-grained metamorphic rock that is primarily composed of clay minerals such as illite, chlorite, and muscovite. It is formed from the transformation of shale, a sedimentary rock, through intense heat and pressure over millions of years.
Slate has a unique layered structure that makes it ideal for use in a variety of applications, including roofing, flooring, and cladding. The layers of slate can be split into thin sheets that are uniform in thickness, making it easy to work with and shape into various sizes and shapes.
A seamless stone texture with natural slate arranged in a stretcher pattern. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
