A seamless stone texture with limestone blocks arranged in a chevron pattern

A seamless stone texture with limestone blocks arranged in a chevron pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1888 x 2027 mm (74.3 x 79.8 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 100 x 500mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 5 mm (0.2 inches) in width.

Limestone is a popular stone within architecture and construction. Due to a variety of minerals, limestone can be found in a range of colours from light grey and cream to dark brown and black. Both soft and hard limestone are used extensively within buildings, in areas such as facades, wall cladding, roof tiles, paving slabs, and decorative elements for gardens, kitchens, and fireplaces.

This texture is an example of a chevron pattern. The chevron pattern contains a series of parallelograms which meet at their ends to form a V shape which is then repeated. The appearance of the chevron can be varied by adjusting the angle of each parallelogram. It is commonly used in interior design for parquet flooring and tile surfaces.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations.
