A seamless stone texture with limestone arranged in a hexagonal pattern. The image represents a physical area of 4048 x 4205 mm (159.4 x 165.6 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 400 x 100 mm. The joints are filled with fine lime mortar and are 5 mm (0.2 inches) in width.

Limestone is a strong, durable stone material commonly used in architecture and construction. Famously used to construct the Great Pyramids of Egypt, limestone is frequently manufactured as bricks, block, or panels. In contemporary buildings, it is used as cladding for external walls and facades, as well as internal floor paving, tiles, and surfaces. Limestone offers a variety of colours including white, yellow, cream, or beige, and finishes including polished, rough, or brushed.

This texture uses hexagonal tiling. This hexagonal pattern contains regular hexagon shapes with each row offset in order to interlink with one another. It is one of the three regular tilings of the Euclidean plane and is a significant structure in nature.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
