A seamless brick texture with even drag brick arranged in a stretcher pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1880 x 1199 mm (74 x 47.2 inches) in total, with each individual unit measuring approximately 225 x 65 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 10 mm (0.4 inches) in width.

Bricks are one of the most popular products in the architecture and construction sectors, commonly used in building facades, cladding, external and internal walls, and landscaping features. Even drag bricks are distinctive due to their unique scrapings along the brick face, which are applied before the heating process. A wide variety of colours are possible with this texture, depending on the brick’s mineral makeup or post-factory finish. Due to their bespoke manufacturing process, drag bricks are typically combined with other traditional brick types for architectural projects.

This texture uses a running pattern also known as a stretcher bond. The stretcher bond is one of the most common bonds used in masonry construction and uses stretchers, bricks laid flat with their long edge parallel to the wall. Each alternating course is offset by a half stretcher.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
