Natural beige coloured, checkered Burlap block basketweave texture for use on hard furnishings and domestic items. Burlap fabric is a derivative of Jute, a plant based fibre material. It is commonly utilised to make bags, baskets, wraps and coverings, as well as protecting plants from heat and cold due to its hard wearing, durable nature. A biodegradable material, it is also commonly used to make sacks for items such as potatoes, coffee and cement as it prevents water ingress to keep contents dry while maintaining a consistent temperature. Additionally, it can be used for furnishings and rugs, although this is a less common application due to its corse nature. This basketweave texture is a more complex decorative application of the weave, which can be easily died and altered to a desired colour.
This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
