Crown Cut Veneer Timber Chevron

A seamless wood texture with crown cut veneer timber arranged in a chevron pattern. The image represents a physical area of 2048 x 1067 mm (80.6 x 42 inches) in total, with each individual board measuring approximately 510 x 150 mm. The joints are filled with earth and are 2 mm (0.1 inches) in width.

A medium tone, crown cut, vertical timber veneer with distinctive swirl grain pattern and is suitable for furniture, panelling, cupboards and doors. This veneer is comprised of real thin-sawn, cut or peeled strips from the origin tree’s trunk which, when layered together over a backing board such as particleboard or MDF, form highly unique patterns. This particular pattern has an acrylic paint finish.

This texture is an example of a chevron pattern. The chevron pattern contains a series of parallelograms which meet at their ends to form a V shape which is then repeated. The appearance of the chevron can be varied by adjusting the angle of each parallelogram. It is commonly used in interior design for parquet flooring and tile surfaces.
