A seamless metal texture with gold arranged in a stretcher pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1525 x 2146 mm (60 x 84.5 inches) in total, with each individual sheet measuring approximately 213.9 x 1069.5 mm. The joints are filled with a solid fill and are 5 mm (0.2 inches) in width.

Gold has been used in architectural decoration and detailing for centuries. While not a common façade or cladding product relative to other metals, gold is sometimes employed by architects to bring a distinctive warm, rich colour to their work. Gold sheet metal can be polished, brushed, stained, and cut into a variety of shapes for use in external walls, details, panels, doors, or windows. Gold also forms an attractive contrast to structural load-carrying materials such as stone, concrete, or brick, and is often used in conjunction with masonry or glass.

This texture uses a running pattern also known as a stretcher bond. The stretcher bond is one of the most common bonds used in masonry construction and uses stretchers, bricks laid flat with their long edge parallel to the wall. Each alternating course is offset by a half stretcher.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations.
