A seamless brick texture with pilotage arranged in a staggered pattern. The image represents a physical area of 2040 x 1260 mm (80.3 x 49.6 inches) in total, with each individual unit measuring approximately 250 x 65 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 5 mm (0.2 inches) in width.

Pilotage is a unique red/brown brick tone popularized by the ornate maritime Pilotage Building found in cities such as Liverpool, Cardiff, and Antwerp. Typically formed of clay and finished to varying textures and colours, bricks are popular in architecture and construction due to their durability, standard sizing, and thermal properties. Pilotage bricks are often used in coordination with other brick types in external building facades, cladding, walls, landscapes, and interior finishes.

This texture uses a staggered pattern, in which each row is offset at random from the last. Staggered patterns are often found in brickwork, stonemasonry and in wood flooring layouts.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
