Rammed earth is a construction material that has been used for centuries and is characterised by its durability, strength, and sustainability. It is composed of a mixture of clay-rich soil, sand, gravel, and sometimes stabilisers like cement or lime. The material is compacted and compressed in layers within formwork to create solid walls or structures.
