A seamless concrete texture with boardmarked concrete blocks arranged in a chevron pattern

A seamless concrete texture with boardmarked concrete blocks arranged in a chevron pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1600 x 1200 mm (63 x 47.2 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 400 x 100 mm (15.7 x 3.9 inches). The joints are filled with mortar and are 0 mm (0 inches) in width.

Boardmarked concrete is concrete which has been cast with timber formwork, leaving the relief of the wood grain visible on the concrete's surface. It can be produced in situ or prefabricated. Boardmarked concrete is commonly used as a structural material but is also often left exposed as a decorative finish for external or internal wall surfaces in contemporary architecture.

This texture is an example of a chevron pattern. The chevron pattern contains a series of parallelograms which meet at their ends to form a V shape which is then repeated. The appearance of the chevron can be varied by adjusting the angle of each parallelogram. It is commonly used in interior design for parquet flooring and tile surfaces.

This image is tileable and can be used in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
