Spruce is a type of coniferous wood that comes from trees in the genus Picea. It is a light-coloured wood that ranges from white to pale yellow in colour, with a straight grain and a fine, even texture. Spruce is known for its strength-to-weight ratio and is commonly used in construction, particularly for framing and scaffolding.
Dressed spruce refers to spruce wood that has been planed and sanded smooth on all four sides. This process, known as "dressing," removes any rough or uneven surfaces and creates a smooth, uniform finish. Dressed spruce is often used for decorative purposes, such as in paneling or trim work, as well as for construction projects where a smooth surface is required, such as in flooring or cabinetry.
This image is a seamless wood texture with a dressed spruce surface. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
