A seamless stone texture with flagstone blocks arranged in a cubic pattern

Description

A seamless stone texture with flagstone blocks arranged in a cubic pattern. The image represents a physical area of 2848 x 3704 mm (112.1 x 145.8 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 400 x 100 mm (15.7 x 3.9 inches). The joints are filled with adobe and are 10 mm (0.4 inches) in width.

Flagstone is a natural rock widely used in architecture and construction. Often cut into rectangular or square shapes, flagstone has historically been used for external elements such as paving slabs, flooring, roof shingles, and façade cladding. Flagstone can be stained to create a variety of tones and colours, and can be finished as a polished of rough surface.

This texture is an example of a rhombille pattern, also known as cubic or tumbling blocks. The rhombille pattern contains a series of rhombi positioned in groups of three to collectively form a hexagon shape, giving the appearance of a cube in isometric perspective. It's commonly used for parquetry and in ceramic tile patterns among other applications.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
