Huset i solen, Spring Green

This design is part of the collection inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson, an iconic and beloved Swedish design family active in the 19th century. The design duo still inspires the whole world with their artistry, their home, and their way of living. This hand-painted design adds beauty to your home. In 1899 Carl published an album with watercolor paintings from the family's home and life at Lilla Hyttnäs. The album, called “ Huset i Solen” (The house in the sun) became a huge success story and is said to be the very first media story from a Swedish home. This hand-painted wallpaper design captures the Swedish summer with all its splendor and blooming flowers, inviting you home for a Midsummer dance in the lush grass.
