A seamless stone texture with blonde sandstone blocks arranged in a stretcher pattern

A seamless stone texture with blonde sandstone blocks arranged in a stretcher pattern. The image represents a physical area of 4860 x 3276 mm (191.3 x 129 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 800 x 400 mm (31.5 x 15.7 inches). The joints are filled with mortar and are 10 mm (0.4 inches) in width.

Blonde sandstone is a natural form of sandstone, composed of sand mineral particles. As a relatively soft rock, sandstone is easy to carve into blocks, bricks, panels, or other shapes, making it a popular building material in architecture and construction. It is frequently used in external cladding, facades, and paving, as well as interior floors, walls, and surfaces. Sandstone can also adopt a variety of finishes, including natural hand cut, honed, brushed, and polished.

This texture uses a running pattern also known as a stretcher bond. The stretcher bond is one of the most common bonds used in masonry construction and uses stretchers, bricks laid flat with their long edge parallel to the wall. Each alternating course is offset by a half stretcher.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
