A seamless wood texture with dark stained timber arranged in a hexagonal pattern. The image represents a physical area of 3630 x 3140 mm (142.9 x 123.6 inches) in total, with each individual board measuring approximately 600 x 100 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 5 mm (0.2 inches) in width.

Dark stained timber is any timber product which has been treated with a dark staining solution along its surface. Following a process of sanding, conditioning, staining, and sealing, dark stained timber can make an effective, water-resistant choice for cladding, facades, or landscape elements, as well as internal products from flooring to furniture. Dark stained timber has the added benefit of reducing the prevalence of knots along the surface grain, as well as creating a smoother, more even texture.

This texture uses hexagonal tiling. This hexagonal pattern contains regular hexagon shapes with each row offset in order to interlink with one another. It is one of the three regular tilings of the Euclidean plane and is a significant structure in nature.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations.
