A seamless stone texture with slate arranged in a cubic pattern. The image represents a physical area of 2792 x 3626 mm (109.9 x 142.8 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 400 x 100 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are 3 mm (0.1 inches) in width.

Slate is a stone product widely adopted as a cladding material within architecture and construction. Slate is most commonly used as a roof shingle or tile, due to its durability, natural waterproofing, and flexibility when cut into individual shapes. Natural slate adopts a natural mid to dark earthy hue, and in addition to roofs, can be used in interior or exterior flooring, stairs, walkways, or wall facades.

This texture is an example of a rhombille pattern, also known as cubic or tumbling blocks. The rhombille pattern contains a series of rhombi positioned in groups of three to collectively form a hexagon shape, giving the appearance of a cube in isometric perspective. It's commonly used for parquetry and in ceramic tile patterns among other applications.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations.
