A seamless metal texture with patinated copper arranged in a staggered pattern. The image represents a physical area of 3160 x 2619 mm (124.4 x 103.1 inches) in total, with each individual sheet measuring approximately 800 x 200 mm. The joints are filled with mortar and are -10 mm (-0.4 inches) in width.
Patinated copper describes any copper product that has been treated with a chemical process to cause a natural discolouration or fading during the life of the material. Patinated copper transitions through a variety of colours and textures during this process, from bright copper to a dark brown. Ultimately, the material adopts a green hue after years of exposure. The resulting finish is used for building cladding, facades, and for internal details and finishes.
This texture uses a staggered pattern, in which each row is offset at random from the last. Staggered patterns are often found in brickwork, stonemasonry and in wood flooring layouts.
This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
