A seamless concrete texture with concrete blocks arranged in a cubic pattern

A seamless concrete texture with concrete arranged in a cubic pattern. The image represents a physical area of 9519 x 7318 mm (374.8 x 288.1 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 1000 x 1875mm. The joints are filled with dichondra grass and are 50 mm (2 inches) in width.

Concrete is one of the most widely used materials in architecture and construction, for structural and decorative components. Concrete’s high strength, durability, and ease of adaption through formworks lends itself to all building typologies, while the range of finishes, from boardmarked to polished, allow it to be incorporated with a variety of other materials and moods. Concrete can be cast in situ, or prefabricated and transported to site, where it is often used for slabs, floors, walls, columns, beams, and façade cladding.

This texture is an example of a rhombille pattern, also known as cubic or tumbling blocks. The rhombille pattern contains a series of rhombi positioned in groups of three to collectively form a hexagon shape, giving the appearance of a cube in isometric perspective. It's commonly used for parquetry and in ceramic tile patterns among other applications.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
