A seamless concrete texture with concrete blocks arranged in a stack pattern

A seamless concrete texture with concrete arranged in a stack pattern. The image represents a physical area of 1640 x 1103 mm (64.6 x 43.4 inches) in total, with each individual block measuring approximately 400 x 266.56mm. The joints are filled with fine lime mortar and are 10 mm (0.4 inches) in width.

Concrete is one of the most widely used materials in architecture and construction, for structural and decorative components. Concrete’s high strength, durability, and ease of adaption through formworks lends itself to all building typologies, while the range of finishes, from boardmarked to polished, allow it to be incorporated with a variety of other materials and moods. Concrete can be cast in situ, or prefabricated and transported to site, where it is often used for slabs, floors, walls, columns, beams, and façade cladding.

This texture uses a stack pattern. The stack pattern is the most basic of the standard patterns in architecture and interior design with each unit simply stacked one above the other and no horizontal or vertical offsets. When used in masonry construction, materials arranged in a stack bond typically require additional reinforcement when compared with a standard running bond.

This image is seamless, meaning it can be tiled repeatedly for use in architectural drawings and 3D models. It can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. You can download a high resolution version of this texture and a matching bump map or CAD hatch (compatible with AutoCAD and Revit) using Architextures Create with a Pro Subscription.
