Gold has been used in architectural decoration and detailing for centuries. While not a common façade or cladding product relative to other metals, gold is sometimes employed by architects to bring a distinctive warm, rich colour to their work. Gold sheet metal can be polished, brushed, stained, and cut into a variety of shapes for use in external walls, details, panels, doors, or windows. Gold also forms an attractive contrast to structural load-carrying materials such as stone, concrete, or brick, and is often used in conjunction with masonry or glass.
A seamless metal texture with gold arranged in a cubic pattern. Seamless textures can be tiled repeatedly across a surface without visible seams making them useful for architectural drawings and 3D models. This image can be used as a SketchUp texture, Revit material or imported into Photoshop for use in 2D illustrations. A high resolution version of this texture is available, as well as CAD hatches and PBR maps with Architextures Pro.
